Potential Energy

So God created human beings in His own image.

In the image of God He created them; male and female He created them.

GENESIS 1:27 NLT

We are all created in the image of God. Therefore, we all have a potential created inside of us.

There is a scientific term called potential energy which means "the stored energy an object has because of its position or state."

For example, a battery by itself does not do anything, but when in use, it releases its stored energy...its full potential.

Electricity to your home has potential. When you flip a switch or plug something into an outlet, you see its energy released.

So if we are created in the image of God, then we are born with potential, and just like a battery and electricity we, too, have to be positioned or plugged in to tap it. Then it is a natural progression to reach out and help others reach their potential too.
